Here I go again!

I suppose if I create a blog I really should get better at writing in it. Although the only follower thus far is my bestest friend Kaitlin!!

So here I am again on my third sleepness night, watching the third Lord of the Rings and purusing the internet. I hate these phases! When there is just to much on your mind to keep you from sleep. So many thoughts running through my head all at once. Its hard to block them all out, clear my head. I have even tried counting sheep but I get distracted way to easy for that! Its time like this that I miss the young single life though! Not having to worry about work/school the next day. Can stay out until 3am and sleep in til noon the next day. No other purpose but to have fun. Unfortunetly...the money runs out and work must be done...even on no sleep.

I have discovered a new talent! Cooking! If you would have told me 3 years ago that i would be making homemade lasanga, alfredo, and pretty much any other recipe i can get my hands on, I would have thought you were crazy. C.R.A.Z.Y. At 18-21 I was still not allowed to use the stove unless a room mate was present because I had a nasty tendency of catching the stove on fire...or walking away and forgetting about what i had cooking and burning them terribly. But as time wore on I realized how quickly things like mac and cheese and raman and toast get old really really quick. So I started trying to cook different things again. And I love it!! Yesterday I cooked my first pot roast. Although not to difficult, I mean you do just stick it in a slow cooker, it still is something new to try! It turned out ok...perhaps a lil over cooked cuz it was kind of dry...nothing a little gravy cant fix of course. Tomorrow Im gonna try my hand at chinese food. I got some recipes for my favorite chinese dishes. General Tso chicken, Egg flower soup, pork fried rice, and even fortune cookies :) We will see how that turns out! If it doesnt though my fridge is FULL of leftovers...I tend to cook for about 4 people. So if it doesnt work out Ill have my choice of steak, mashed potatoes, steamed vegetables, spaghetti with garlic bread, pot roast with the potatoes and carrots that were cooked with it. LOL sooo as you can see i tend to go a lil overboard. O WELL!!!

Well I suppose this is enough blogging for a night...or for another couple months in my case...hopefully I can get a lil sleep in!

The day has come!

Alright, well after many persistant requests from my very best friend, I have finally decided to start my blog! Here goes!!!

For those of you who want a little update on my life, I am 23 years old! TIme freakin flys I'll tell you that! It seems like just yesterday was graduating high schoool! I have an amazing Mommy and Daddy, 2 little sisters, and a little brother. My oldest younger sister, Tamera, is getting married next year and I am so happy for her!!! Steven is in high school now, and taller than me, its been weird watching him grow up thats for sure! And then there is Elizabeth...the baby of the family! She is just starting first grade this year and I cant believe how big she is getting! I am very lucky that I got such an awesome family!

I also have two best friends, who I know I couldnt live without!! Kaitlin and I have been best friends for about 9 years. Our story has an interesting start, and since then it just becomes for interesting for us everyday! Kelli is my other best friend, and with Kaitlin all the way up in Portland I can honostly say I dont know what I would do without that girl!

I have been going to college off and on for about four years now, and I think I may finally know what I'm do. I say may because although it seems final today I tend to change my mind ALL the time...hence why I have been going on and off for four years.

I work at a call center for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Oregon...I cant lie...its not the most exciting job I've ever worked at. I work on the Medicare lines of business so there are definetly some hard days, but all in all I guess in this economy i should just be thankful for a steady job with benefits :)

Well, thats all the time I have to blog for now! Off to help save the world one medicare member at time! :)
